Ukrainian Drones Hit Ozon Warehouses for Third Straight Night
Ukrainian drones struck at least three Ozon logistics centers and other sites across southern Russia and occupied Crimea overnight Aug. 23-24, marking a third consecutive night of strikes on the retail giant. Falling drone debris killed two children and injured nine others at a childcare center in Krasnodar, regional officials said.
Why it matters
The attacks extend a weeks-long campaign targeting Russian e-commerce logistics hubs, including rival retailer Wildberries, and coincided with Ukraine's Independence Day.
What's unclear
- Which specific sites were hit beyond the three Ozon centers?
- What was the extent of damage to the logistics centers?
- Were there any other casualties or injuries beyond those reported in Krasnodar?
